Understand therefore this day, that the LORD your God is he who goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before your face: so shall you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said unto you.

For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp, until they were consumed.

As the nations which the LORD destroys before your face, so shall you perish; because you would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

Wail you; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
