I say again, Let no man think me foolish; but if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

That which I speak, I speak it not according to the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

For you put up with fools gladly, seeing you yourselves are wise.

I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. But in whatsoever way any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be in our right mind, it is for your cause.

I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind the very chief apostles, though I be nothing.

For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised.
