Salmos 119:67
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept your word.
Salmos 119:71
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn your statutes.
Jó 5:17
Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not the chastening of the Almighty:
Provérbios 3:11
My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
1 Coríntios 11:32
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Hebreus 12:5-11
5
And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:
6
For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.
7
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?
8
But if you be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are you illegitimate children, and not sons.
9
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11
Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them who are trained by it.

Jó 33:16-25
16
Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,
17
That he may turn man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18
He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
20
So that his life abhors bread, and his soul the choicest food.
21
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen now stick out.
22
Yea, his soul draws near unto the grave, and his life to those who bring death.
23
If there be a messenger with him, a mediator, one of a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:
24
Then he is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
25
His flesh shall be younger than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:
Miqueias 6:9
The LORD'S voice cries unto the city, and wisdom shall see your name: Hear the rod, and who has appointed it.
Apocalipse 3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
