A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in your faithfulness answer me, and in your righteousness.

Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit fails: hide not your face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies: I flee unto you to hide me.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.

Behold, God is my helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
